View From The Center Of The World - Elbow Cay, Bahamas

From the top level of our balcony facing north. To the east is the sea of abaco and to the west is the final few islands bordering the Atlantic Ocean. These islands are lands final frontier. Their rims border a deep shelf that continues until the western coast of Africa.

Bahamian Update!

For all the worried parents out there, do not fret! We have been unable to reach you all due to our islands frequent lack of power and downed telephone lines! Our only link to the outside world is a single, very slow computer located at the nearby Sea Spray hotel.

Even with this lack of power, or possibly because of it, we are having an incredible time. We have visited many of the nearby islands and the scenery surrounding us is nearly indesctribable. Palm trees sway with the steady trade winds filling the Abacos and pristine beaches are bordered by washed up seaweed and abandoned seashells. Our house is located in the southern end of the island near Tahiti beach and we make frequent trips to Hopetown for much needed supplies and the occassional drink :)

We will update this page again as soon as possible and we our wishing you all the best from our Bahamian island of Elbow Cay.
