With only two days left, we boated to Marsh Harbour to meet some friends at the Abaco Beach Resort. After some serious poolside lounging and subsequent swimming I found a small harbor of hammocks, all four hanging from curved palm trees. Wrapped up in the comfortable netting I found a moment of pure grace. I locked that memory in my mind: a hammock gently swinging, calm breeze sending the palm trees in a constant sway, and the tidal crash of a turqouise sea. My mind totally relaxed, yet observant of every small detail.
It was bliss.
I hope to always keep that moment tucked away, ready for the time when those stresses of the "real" world overcome me.
Now that I am back in the states I will be backlogging some of the pictures and videos I shot while in the Bahamas. The scenery has changed dramatically and so has the infastructure. I now have consistent power and internet, which should make the process signifigantly easier.
I hope you enjoy the stories, pictures, and videos from this incredible journey.
